Company Description

We are engaged in Business of Barcode printers , scanners and labels . We have collaborated with industry leading brands for various industrial machinery such as printers, scanners and packaging machinery. We also have one dedicated IT segment to look after software needs of our clients such as warehouse management , inventory management and ERP.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ahmedabad for an Accountant and Admin at Maven Autotech Pvt. Ltd. The Accountant and Admin will be responsible for handling day to day accounting transactions, sales, purchase and inventory management in Tally and handling documentation for dispatch

Providing necessary data and reports to consultants for GST and other mandatory return filings.

As an admin, role involves administration of day to day office activities, communication with consultants and vendors , handling payroll work and human resource management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in accounting and finance
  • Proficiency in using accounting software (Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Preferably experienced in guiding and looking after work of departmental subordinates
  • Preferably 1 to 2 years experience in handling accounting and admin work

Accountant

Responsibilities for Accountant:

  • Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports
  • Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information
  • Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options
  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
  • Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups.
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
  • Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
  • Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

Qualifications for Accountant:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. associate’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • 2-3 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with routinely shifting demands
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Data entry experience
  • Working knowledge of general office equipment

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax, accounting or finance
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in accounting/finance

  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
